Form and functionality

Textiles are proven multitalented performers with new functions constantly being developed and existing ones perfected. Today's highly functional textiles offer us a touch more quality of life. They allow our transportation to become lighter, they add strength to concrete walls, they regulate our body temperature and they protect our plants from weeds. The textile fairs of Messe Frankfurt offer innovative platforms for these and other material technologies and trends. Progress can be experienced here at first hand.

The functionality of textiles plays an important role not just in the area of technical textiles, but also for contract textiles and apparel. Our trade fairs therefore focus on all aspects of this exciting area.
